The Great Bamboozle

So, Mommy has been home for a few days after going to work one day and coming home early. In that time, she has been writing on a bunch of papers she has brought home and taking them to different buildings I've never been to before.

We have also been having more family time. Today Daddy slept for awhile and Mommy fed me a couple of times before Daddy woke up. Well, he and I woke up at the same time and the first thing he did was get me a popsicle. He bamboozled me though. I wanted one if his sugary popsicles but what I got was a homemade popsicle made from my peach grub. It was good but not what I was expecting.

After I ate my fill of the popsicle, we went downstairs and I sat in my new chair and ate a bottle of grub while watching CSI: Miami.

After that, Mommy and Daddy brought my tummy time mats and my toys downstairs and I tried crawling but I kept sliding backwards.

After awhile, Daddy read me "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" while Mommy was in the kitchen saying she would trade Daddy for the mouse because he cleans up after trimming his hair.

After my book, I got tired but I didn't want to leave my mats so I asked Mommy and Daddy if I could sleep in the floor. They said yes and laid me down but my mats were cold so I asked for a blanket to lie on.

After I got to sleep, I slept for about half an hour then Daddy opened his gummy bears and I woke up and said "If you're going eat give me a top off bottle." Wouldn't you know it they actually listened to me.

Next thing I knew I was being woken up by Daddy's alarms telling him to put on his Shirt with the Shiny Star to go to work.
